How Much Tubeless Sealant Do I Need? A Simple ml-Per-Tyre Guide

It's the question every rider asks the first time they go tubeless: how much sealant actually goes in each tyre? Put in too little and a puncture won't seal. Put in too much and you're carrying dead weight and making a mess at every top-up. The good news — it isn't complicated once you know the ranges.

The short answer: it depends on tyre size, not brand hype

Sealant volume scales with the size of the tyre and how much abuse it takes. A skinny road tyre at high pressure needs far less than a big enduro tyre run soft. These are the ranges most riders land on:

How often to top up

Sealant is a consumable: it slowly does its job and eventually needs refreshing rather than replacing.
